Mom is shocked one morning to discover that her daughter, Tori, is sprouting feathers. The transformation worsens over time. A trip to the doctor’s confirms it- Tori is turning into a bird unless something is done. More drastic action is taken, but to no avail. Mother and daughter learn to cope with it together, and find strength in each other.

Hands On Deck is a group of nine stop-motion animation enthusiasts from Canada’s Sheridan College. “Feathers” is their first collectively directed effort.
